Spen crush Idle to maintain promotion charge
Spen remain second but are now 16 points behind Farsley, while third placed New Farnley have closed the gap on them to 24 points.
That is because Spen were unable to pick up any batting bonus points after skittling Idle for just 61 with Ben Platt (4-15) and Rob Burton (3-19) doing the damage before Tosh Baker (29no) and Matthew West (26) eased them home in 11.4 overs but they had to settle for 15 points.
