Huddersfield Art Gallery hosts contemporary painting exhibition

Huddersfield Art Gallery is encouraging everyone to find out what is happening in British painting today by attending their latest exhibition.

Contemporary British Painting runs until March 14 2015.

Many of the artists’ paintings draw on contemporary subjects like our engagements with the middle east and the impact of mass media. New artists often work out of garages, spare bedrooms and garden studios, using social media to connect with each other and their audience.

The exhibition is free and the gallery is open Monday to Friday, 10am-5pm and Saturday, 10am-4pm.
