Appeal after man goes missing from hospital

Abubaker Rawat was last seen at 2pm on Tuesday August 19 at the hospital and there have been no reported sightings of him since.

Mr Rawat has a medical condition and officers are concerned for his welfare.

He is known to have connections in Batley and Leeds, with police extending their search to these areas.

Detective Inspector Andy Parr of Dewsbury CID said: “Mr Rawat is described as Asian, around 5’9”tall, of medium build and was wearing a grey hooded top, beige jeans and dark blue trainers.
