Birkenshaw biker death
A BIKER has died after crashing into a parked car on Saturday afternoon.
John Newsome, 27, was driving his Suzuki GSXR 600 along Birkenshaw Lane, at the junction of Albert Crescent, when he hit a VW Passat at around 5.40pm. He also hit a garden fence.
Mr Newsome, of Birkenshaw Lane, was taken to Leeds General Infirmary but died as a result of his injuries on Saturday evening.
