Boy hospitalised after three-car smash
A boy was taken to hospital after a three-car smash yesterday (Sunday).
Police were called to Staincliffe Road, between School Lane and Reservoir Street, just before 4pm after reports of a crash involving a Ford Focus, a Vauxhall Corsa and a Skoda Superb.
A police spokeswoman said a boy was taken to hospital with head injuries but was released later that evening.
The road was reopened by 5.30pm.
