BREAKING NEWS: Brocklesby murder trial update
Judge Foskett QC has heard the closing arguments from both prosecution and defence counsels this morning (Monday).
The prosecution alleges that Oldroyd stabbed Mr Brocklesby twice in the back, following an argument after a house party on May 7 in Cleckheaton.

Hide AdProsecutor Peter Moulson QC said Oldroyd was ‘looking for trouble’ and was prone to violence.
Malcolm Swift QC, defending, said Oldroyd stabbed Mr Brocklesby to defend his friend Josiah Mayman, who Mr Brocklesby was attacking with a baseball bat.
The jury at Leeds Crown Court is expected to be sent out tomorrow morning.
Oldroyd admits stabbing Mr Brocklesby but denies murder.
