Bus station buskers serenade passengers

Passengers at Dewsbury bus station were given a break from the usual announcements by a group of buskers.

Acoustic trio Live Lounge treated passengers to acoustic covers of hits by The Killers, Van Morrison and Adele as part of a one day fundrasing tour of West Yorkshire stations.

Shortlisted as one of five final acts competing to perform at this summer’s Party in the Park in Leeds, Live Lounge have been set the challenge of raising as much money as possible for 96.3 Radio Aire and Magic 828’s Cash for Kids Charity.

Former Metro employee and Live Lounge guitarist, Chris Moretti said: “I remember from my days at Metro how generous West Yorkshire’s bus passengers are so thought busking at bus stations was the ideal way to kick off fund-raising for this great cause.”

Singer Michaela Glover and violinist Howard Nash completed the line-up.
