Cleckheaton businesswoman wins £15k boost for Dewsbury training programme
Sara Gill of Stanley’s Training Project has been given the money by the UnLtd fund to help get people into employment.
Stanley’s is a social enterprise that offers training and life skills to people with learning difficulties, and those who find it hard to access education, training or employment.

Hide AdIt also provides employment support at community cafes in Dewsbury Moor Children’s Centre and the Church of the Nazarene and was given the grant to expand its operations.
Andy Hemming from UnLtd said: “Sara is a great example of the kind of person UnLtd looks to support. She has a real passion for the people she works with and is establishing a solid track record for turning lives around.
“We give very few awards at this level annually, I’m really pleased that Sara has been successful, I wish her project every success.”
Sara said: “I cannot believe that UnLtd picked me as a Star Person to receive the funding, I am so pleased.

UnLtd runs the Star People programme Big Local Areas, which covers Dewsbury Moor.
