Dewsbury police bust man with over 1,000 cannabis plants

Officers have arrested a man for growing over 1,000 cannabis plants at a Dewsbury property.

Officers from Dewsbury and Mirfield Neighbourhood Policing Team executed a Drugs Warrant at a property on Daisy Hill, Dewsbury Town Centre, where they located a substantial Cannabis Farm with over 1,000 Cannabis Plants.

The man is currently in custody and enquiries are ongoing to locate others.

The building was secured until it could be made safe as the electricity system was bypassed.
