Did you see man being attacked?

Police are appealing for witnesses after the attack, which took place at around 3.10pm on Friday, December 27.

Two men approached the 30-year-old victim, who was standing outside a property in Orchard Street, and punched him several times to the face and pushed him to the floor. The two men then left the area in a black Vauxhall Corsa.

The men, aged 23 and 34, were arrested in connection with this incident and are currently on bail.

PC Carrie-Ann Lee, of Dewsbury and Mirfield Neighbourhood Policing Team, said: “We understand that a number of members of the public saw this offence and stopped to help the victim. We would ask anyone who witnessed this assault who has not already spoken to the police to call Dewsbury and Mirfield NPT on 101.”
