Educating Yorkshire’s Mr Burton joins switch on line up
Educating Yorkshire star Mr Burton will help get festivities kicked off at Dewsbury Christmas lights switch on.
The English teacher became a firm favourite on the Channel 4 show, and will join Dewsbury Rams Captain Austin Buchanan and Head Coach Glenn Morrison for the switch on this Saturday November 23.
The entertainment kicks off at 2.30pm with street entertainers, Santa’s grotto and more in the Market Place.
Elisa Hilton and the Real Radio patrol will be on stage for the festive celebrations from 3.30pm with entertainment, music and giveaways, before the big switch on at 5pm.
