Final preperations for beer festival
Now in its third year the festival, organised by Mirfield Round Table, will run over three days next weekend and offer 20 real ales and a selection of ciders.
Festival committee member Reuben Baker said: “Our aim is to raise as much money as possible for a number of good causes and local charities by creating a beer paradise in Mirfield.

The festival, at Mirfield Cricket Club, will host live music on the Friday and Saturday evenings, as well as live cricket during the day.
This year’s festival includes beers from a range of breweries including Theakston, Robinson’s Brewery, Golcar Brewery, Ossett Brewery and Rat Brewery.
During the last year events by Mirfield Round Table have supported such charities and organisations as Macmillan Cancer Support, Mirfield Community Centre, Heavy Woollen District Scout Group and the Salvation Army.
