Firefighters deal with blaze started by youths
Firefighters had to deal with a fire started by youths in Batley last night (Monday).
A crew from Cleckheaton Fire Station were called out to the incident on grass land off Coal Pit Mews at about 9.15pm.
The fire made of settees and chairs was fully alight by the time they arrived.
Around six youths are reported to have shouted at the crew before scarpering.
Nobody was injured and the fire was extinguished in around 20 minutes.
