Hazardous chemicals lorry stolen

A LORRY carrying 8,000 litres of potentially hazardous chemicals has been stolen from a site in Dewsbury.

The 23-tonne wagon was taken from the chemical plant in Mill Street East at 9.57pm yesterday.

Police are appealing for witnesses and anyone with information to contact them immediately.

They are also warning people not to go near the HGV because the chemicals are potentially harmful.

The stolen wagon is a white Scania 300 curtain-sider, registration VRM YJ03 CNX.
