Inquest opens after 18-year-old Batley man dies in crash
An inquest has opened today after an 18-year-old Batley man died after a car crash.
Yasar Hussain, of Howard Street, was pronounced dead at the scene by paramedics after the Nissan Micra he was a passenger in hit a tree in Victoria Avenue, Batley, at around 9.55pm on Tuesday.
A 21-year-old man and another male, 18, were taken to Leeds General Infirmary with serious, but not life-threatening, injuries.
The inquest at the City Courts in Bradford has been adjourned to an unfixed date.
