Staff and children from Tilery Primary will be joining the celebrations on March 16 March, bringing along their own Lanterns.
A spokesperson for the event said: “School will be a hive of activity over the coming fortnight as children and staff construct their lanterns of famous landmarks around the world.
“In addition there will also be workshops on the weekends of 4 and 5 March and 11 and 12 March, – and the evenings of Thursday 9 March and Tuesday 14 March, giving children and their families the opportunity to construct their own lanterns.
