Man guilty of robbery
A MAN has admitted robbing Birstall shopkeeper Gillian Cowdray in October.
Ryan Paul Hurley, 24, of Preston Street in Batley, pleaded guilty to robbery and possession of a handgun at Leeds Crown Court on Monday.
He will be sentenced with co-defendants Robert Michael Brame and Robert Wilson on May 11.

Hide AdLucy Arundale, 20, of Summerbridge Crescent in Gomersal, was arrested in connection with the offence last year. Her case has been dismissed on the grounds of no evidence.
Brame, 23, of Foldings Close, Scholes, will be sentenced for robbery and possession of a handgun. Wilson, 22, of Firthcliffe Road in Liversedge will be sentenced for assisting offenders.
