Marathon radio broadcast
Broadcasters at Dewsbury and District Hospital are going that little further next week to raise cash and keep their station on the air.
Volunteer presenters at HWD Hospital Radio will be on air for 50 hours from 7pm on Friday 13 April to 9pm on Sunday 15 April as part of the Fundraising 50 campaign.
The service relies on donations to keep its equipment in good order and pay for broadcasting licences.
Chairman Mike Binns said: “We’ll be encouraging listeners to join in throughout the 50 hours marathon broadcast.”
