Net gains at nursery football day
Little Acorns Nursery in Mirfield recently held a football themed day with children dressing in their football kits or sporty clothes to take part in the action-packed event.
The children decorated flags of all the countries that took part in the world cup, while Usman Hussain came along to show the youngsters some excellent football tricks.
Leanne Khan, deputy manager at Little Acorns, said: “The children absolutely loved it. They learnt how to dribble a ball and tackle. They also had a go at being a goalkeeper so they could save some goals when it was penalty shoot-out time. Even our younger children in the baby room got involved.”
