New Kirklees Council Labour candidate announced
Labour’s new Kirklees Council candidate for Mirfield has been annnounced.
Patrick Dennehy will stand during council elections for the Mirfield ward in May 2015. Mr Dennehy, of Dewsbury, has previously been involved in several successful elections campaigns with other councillors in the constituency as well as the campaign to retain services at Dewsbury Hospital.
Mr Dennehy said: “I am extremely pleased that the members of Mirfield have selected me as their Labour Party representative for next year’s elections. “I will be out and about in the coming months, getting to the bottom of the issues that matter most to local people.”
