Event was first class

I WOULD like to thank Coun Paul Kane and Dewsbury Women’s Health Group for a wonderful evening at Hanging Heaton Cricket Club on March 30.

The food was marvellous and the entertainment was by the Blues Brothers tribute band, who gave their time free of charge and provided an excellent performance.

The band has raised about £75,000 for charities to date and all the veterans enjoyed the evening, so well done Coun Kane, Margaret Watson and also Maureen Tierney of the Women’s Health Group.

THANK you to Coun Paul Kane for the veterans’ event. It was a great night with good food and excellent entertainment.

Coun Kane said it was the fifth one he had done, I only hope he does another one. I would like to thank Margaret Watson who helped organise the do. It was lovely to have waitress service and the food was excellent.
