Weight has been lifted
I AM writing this as a great thank you to all who helped in the long and arduous campaign for a bridge and road to the Mitchell Laithes treatment works.
Many hours of stress, and sometimes not very pleasant circumstances, have occurred over a four year period, but a weight now seems to have been lifted from the residents of Earlsheaton.
A special vote of thanks to councillors Eric Firth, Paul Kane and Cathy Scott, and not forgetting Shahid Malik, who all worked tirelessly in achieving our final result.
