Police hunt for Mirfield girl’s Valentine’s Day attacker

A MAN who assaulted a 16-year-old girl on Valentine’s Day is being hunted by police.

Dewsbury CID has just released details of the February 14 attack on a Huddersfield to Leeds bus.

The Mirfield girl was on the 202 bus to Leeds at around 4pm when a man sat beside her.

The man began talking to the girl, who ignored him, before he kicked her and touched her leg. She asked him to stop touching her but he continued until he got off the bus in North Road, Ravensthorpe, at around 4.20pm. The girl then called the police.

The man was white, in his late twenties and around 5ft 2ins. He was clean shaven and wore a black leather jacket, black hooded top, dark blue jeans and black trainers.
