Ravensthorpe man arrested in terrorism probe released without charge

A LOCAL man who was arrested as part of a terrorism investigation has been released without charge.

The 43-year-old from Huddersfield Road, Ravensthorpe, was arrested on Thursday.

He was one of seven people arrested last week after police found weapons inside a car they had impounded on Saturday June 30.

Yesterday, three of the suspects appeared at Westminster Magistrates’ Court accused of preparing for an act or acts of terrorism with the intention of committing such acts.

Three others from the West Midlands are due to appear in court today after they were charged with terrorism offences yesterday evening.
