Reunion for St John Fisher Catholic High School pupils

The celebration will be held at St Paulinus Parochial Hall in High Street, Westtown, Dewsbury, on Saturday, 7.30pm.
Former pupil Sephie Collins said: “What was special about our year was that we were the first comprehensive intake at the school.

“For a number of years there has been talk of a reunion, but I think the fact that everyone has reached the 50th birthday milestone over the last year has given the organisers the incentive to set things up.”

The same year group also became the first to attend the sixth form at the Dewsbury school.

Entry costs £5, including supper.
