Sir Patrick Stewart wishes Mirfield cyclist a speedy recovery
Hollywood movie star Sir Patrick Stewart has wished Mirfield cyclist Brian Robinson a speedy recovery after hearing of his accident yesterday.
Sir Patrick, who was visiting his hometown of Mirfield this week, said: “I wish him a quick and full recovery. He was one of my local heroes and I send him by best wishes.”
Mr Robinson is recovering in hospital after being hit by a car while out cycling yesterday afternoon.
