Slimming World members are in the pink for charity

Thirty-nine people, including members, children and even their dogs turned out for the hour-long walk around the pond on Saturday, August 1.

Some people arrived in wheelchairs and walked half a lap for the good cause, and children ran round 10 times.

The event, during which people dressed in Race for Life pink, was organised by club consultants Sarah Tolson and Yvonne Wood. Their Slimming World sessions take place at Gomersal Public Hall on Tuesdays at 5.30pm and 7.30pm. For information, call Sarah on 07801817558.
