The Batley and Spen Neighbourhood Poilicing Team came across the the van in Mill Lane, Birkenshaw on November 20.
It believed to be used as a pool vehicle and abandoned.
A pool vehicle, is one that can be used by several persons to commit crimes.
Often these vehicles can be registered and insured to one person so if they are checked whilst out and about the vehicle would appear legitimate.
