Two killed in Wyke accident

TWO people have died in a car crash overnight.

Police say they were killed when their car crashed into a tree in Woodside Road in Wyke, Bradford, in the early hours of this morning (Wednesday).

The accident happened close to the road’s junction with Huddersfield Road.

A police spokesman said the cause of the crash was being looked into.

Woodside Road, the A641, was closed over night, and is expected to remain closed throughout the morning. Diversions are in place in Huddersfield Road, the B6379.
