VIDEO: Watch the moment Peaches the Pug was stolen by thieves
Lucy Swift, of The Grove, Batley, said she feared the worst after her seven-month-old Pug, named Peaches, was pinched from her home.
The puppy was bought for her son Ellis Barrett after the brave six-year-old had a series of surgeries on scars he suffered from burns aged two.

“We are all absolutely devastated and want her back,” Miss Swift said.
“Peaches is a big part of the family and we cannot believe anyone would take her.
“Ellis thinks the police know where she is but he is really worried about her. I could not bare telling him she might not come home.”

She watched the footage in horror as they let the puppy out of her garden before picking her up and running away.
Miss Swift said: “There were two lads in their early 20s. One was wearing a dark sweatshirt and woolly hat and the other a dark hoody.
“It is unusual to be wearing that when it has been so hot lately so someone must have noticed them.
