VW team’s charity pledge

MANY people dream of packing up and getting away from it all – and one local company is helping bring those dreams closer to reality for some by creating a home from home in a camper van.

GT Campers is based at Batley Enterprise Centre and specialises in reconditioning and refurbishing the iconic VW camper vans.

The family-run business is managed by brothers Tim and James Bleazard and Tim’s partner Kathryn Jackson, who carry out work for customers across the country.

Tim said: “We get a lot of commercial vehicles which we turn into leisure vehicles.

“There are a few companies out there doing what we do, but we attract customers from across the country because we’re good at what we do and we’re all passionate about it.”

GT Campers is now on a fundraising mission, offering van owners the chance to win free insulation, lining and a brand new floor for a T4 or T5 by donating £2 to the NSPCC and ‘liking’ the company’s Facebook page.
