Women suffers serious injuries after being hit by car in Dewsbury
Police are appealing for witnesses after a woman suffered serious injuries when she was struck by a car in Dewsbury.

The woman, who is in her fifties, was taken to hospital following the incident which involved a Ford Mondeo and occurred outside an address in Guernsey Road at about 6.50pm yesterday (Wednesday).
Her injuries are not believed to be life threatening.
Anyone who witnessed the collision or what happened prior to it is asked to contact the Roads Policing on 101 or by using the options on the West Yorkshire Police website.
