World cup trophy visit and new street stall for MP
Dewsbury and Mirfield MP Simon Reevell will take in Ravensthorpe as part of his Saturday street stalls.
The stalls will now take place on the first Saturday of every month outside Tesco in Mirfield between 9.30am and 10.30am, outside Morrisons in Ravensthorpe between 10.45am and 11.30am and on Foundry Street in Dewsbury town centre between 11.45am and 1.15pm.
Mr Reevell has also arranged for the Rugby League World Cup trophy to come to Dewsbury this weekend. It will be taken to Shaw Cross Sharks and Dewsbury Moor rugby league clubs. It is hoped that the visit will help with fundraising for the teams’ injured payers, Ryan Glynn and Connor Squires.
Mr Reevell will arrive at the Shaw Cross Sharks Rugby Club with the trophy at 1.15pm, before moving to Dewsbury Moor ARLFC at 2.45pm.
