Zoe’s London visit for awards event
A MIRFIELD family has been to London to launch an awards ceremony for young people with bleeding disorders.
Zoe McGough, who suffers from a bleeding disorder, went to Parliament with 150 other young people to launch the Haemophilia Society’s Buddy Awards.
The 11-year-old, of Ebor Gardens, attended the event with her parents, Debra and Graham.

Hide AdChildren’s TV presenters Dick and Dom gave a speech, alongside Haemophilia Society chief executive Chris James and Viggo Birch from healthcare firm Novo Nordisk.
The Buddy Awards will recognise the support that friends and carers provide for haemophilia sufferers.
