BREAKING NEWS: Gary Sykes to fight Gary Buckland on September 24
DEWSBURY boxing champion Gary Sykes will take on Cardiff’s Gary Buckland for the British super featherweight title in Sheffield on September 24.
It will be the third defence of Sykes’s title and victory for the Dewsbury man will see him win the Lonsdale belt outright.
The fight, which will be shown live on Sky Sports, will be held at the Ponds Forge Leisure Centre, in Sheffield.
Sykes also has a non-title warm-up fight in Huddersfield this Saturday.
