Final spot sealed by BD3

BD3 United reached the Sonder Heating Cup final after a 4-3 extra-time success over Fairbank United at Liversedge FC last Wednesday.

The sides were tied 3-3 after 90 minutes before BD3 struck to edge through.

Phil Smith, Toseef Arshad, Intikhab Alam and Sajad Ali (penalty) scored for BD3 while Fairbank replied through Usman Amir, Tufail Ahmed and Faisal Shabbir.

The second semi-final was due to be played on Wednesday at Liversedge but heavy rain forced the tie between Premier Division title challengers Jardy Boys and Savile United of Division One to be postponed.

The tie has been re-arranged for Monday at Liversedge FC with a 7pm kick-off. The date and venue of the final will be confirmed as soon as possible.
