Austin consigns Huddersfield Town to defeat at QPR
Charlie Austin netted twice for QPR as Huddersfield Town suffered a 2-1 away defeat to the Championship promotion-chasers.
Town boss Mark Robins described his side’s first-half performance as “brilliant” but they were unable to find a way through and it was the hosts who broke the deadlock through Austin 10 minutes into the second period.
New signing Nahki Wells headed home to level 13 minutes later but Austin got his head onto Benoit Assou-Ekotto’s corner to grab the winner 11 minutes from time.
