Joy for Celtic and Moor on Heavy Woollen Junior finals day

DEWSBURY Celtic Under-16s made it a hat-trick of trophies when they added the Heavy Woollen District Cup to the League Champions and Top Four Play-off winners, following a 44-16 win against Dewsbury Moor.

Celtic produced an impressive performance of fast flowing rugby scoring four first half tries in quick succession from Halloran, Mowvley, Clough and Batchelor, with three conversions coming from Batchelor.

A lack of concentration either side of half time saw Celtic concede 16 points before they replied with further tries from Lawrence, Lindley (two) and O’Donnell, with Batchelor adding another three conversions to take his points tally for the match to 16.
