Moor stage charity gala this Sunday

The Michael Ormsby matches that will be staged will help raise money for Kirkwood Hospice. Bar and refreshments will be available at the field.

Moor will also be involved in three of the Heavy Woollen ARL finals which will be played at Mount Pleasant on Saturday.

Moor Under-13s will meet Celtic at noon and the same sides clash in the Under-15s cup (1.30pm), before Moor’s first team take on Ossett Trinity in the John Kane Cup final (3pm).

On Sunday, Moor Under-17s travel to Churwell Chiefs in the Yorkshire Youth League Division One needing to win if they are to reach the play-offs.

Dewsbury Moor will also play in the Yorkshire Men’s Summer League and their first opponents could be West Hull Lions, who have asked for a fixture to be brought forward to May 19.
