Nostalgia: Youth club parade through Birstall
The Birstall Parish Youth Club paraded through the village’s streets in a bid to become “Rag Queen” in 1964.
The Mayor of Batley, Coun Haigh, started the procession with the band of the 1st Dewsbury Boys’ Brigade Company.
