Rams aim to spring a surprise on leaders
Dewsbury did not play last weekend due to the Northern Rail Cup quarter-finals and will be aiming to bounce back from a 60-18 defeat away to Featherstone Rovers the previous week.
However, prop Steve Crossley believes the Rams are a very different prospect at home and is looking forward to locking horns with Karl Harrison’s men.

Hide AdCrossley said: “Our main focus has always been on the home games and no one has done a job at us on our own ground.
“We are always confident playing at home. We pushed Leigh very close and only lost 24-12 to Featherstone in a game when we had three tries disallowed.
“We have a big incentive against a Halifax side who are riding high. We are at home in front of the television cameras but there are things going for us.
“The players are a proud, tight knit bunch, who are very passionate about this club.
“Some of the big teams in the division still have to come to our ground and we are confident against anyone at home.”
