Referee halts Premier clash

LAST Saturday’s Spen Valley League Premier Division game between Ravensthorpe Rangers and BD3 United was abandoned after just 40 minutes.

The referee brought a halt to proceedings just before half-time after Ravensthorpe players disputed several of his decisions.

With the match at Girlington called off due to a waterlogged pitch, just two top flight games were completed.
