Robinson and Ratcliffe found not guilty

THORNHILL Trojans duo Darren Robinson and Joss Ratcliffe are free to play against Sharlston Rovers A tomorrow (2pm) after both were found not guilty following their sendings off in the Yorkshire Cup final defeat to Hunslet Old Boys last month.

The pair made personal appearances at Monday’s BARLA disciplinary hearing when evidence was heard and both are eligible to resume playing.

Thornhill were, however, found guilty of brawling during the final against the Old Boys and they have been fined £100.

The Trojans have earmarked another extended run in the BARLA National Cup and have received a bye to the second round.

They will be aiming to extend their 100 per cent record in Pennine League Division Two tomorrow when Sharlston A visit Overthorpe Park.
