Crookes could face wait to reach milestone

Dewsbury Rams centre Jason Crookes could be forced to wait to make the 100th appearance of his career after he was injured against Workington.

Crookes suffered a broken nose and was knocked out in a tackle early in last Sunday’s game and will need to pass various head tests before he is allowed to resume playing.

Crookes has appeared for eight different clubs during his seven year career and lies one short of the century milestone.

He played 11 games for Widnes in 2008, 27 for Bradford between 2009-2012, nine on loan at Sheffield in 2011, one on loan at York in 2013, 18 for Hull FC, one on loan at Doncaster, 15 with Featherstone and has featured 17 times for the Rams this season.
