Rams suffer defeat at Newcastle
A young Dewsbury Rams outfit suffered a 36-10 defeat away to newly named Newcastle Thunder last Saturday.
The Rams never recovered from the 23rd minute dismissal of prop forward Zach Johnson for punching and were 20-6 down at half-time.
Substitute Joe McLocklan and new signing Jason Crookes were the Rams try scorers, with Kieran Hyde landing a goal.
A much stronger Rams outfit are expected to take to the field this Sunday when London Broncos visit in the final pre-season game.
