Sharks’ attack shows its bite in impressive Heworth win

SHAW Cross Sharks U14s saw off the challenge of Heworth in an excellent 30-18 home win.

Sharks broke the deadlock through Declan Sheehan’s try and Wright’s conversion and they turned the screw with scores from Mitchell Firth and Scott Carter, both goaled by Benson.

Heworth fought back but Isaac Haley’s score, improved by Benson, gave the hosts some breathing space before Nathan Wright touched-down and Benson landed the goal. Thomas Shaw was man of the match.
