The Trojans produced a giantkilling to beat Workington 16-12 on March 11 2006 at Dewsbury’s Tetley’s Stadium in front of a crowd of 561 and went on to draw Super League side Catalans Dragons away in the next round.

Craig Holmes and Scott Dyson scored the Trojans tries, while full-back Holmes also landed four goals to complete the memorable win.

The 10th anniversary reunion will take place on Saturday March 12, from 7pm, in Thornhill Sports & Community Centre.

All players from the squads which beat Workington and then travelled to Catalans are hoped to be in attendance, while supporters are also welcome.

Several of the Trojans giantkilling squad went on to play in the professional ranks, most notably Johnny Campbell, who had a successful spell at Batley Bulldogs before joining Bradford Bulls at the end of last season.

Andrew Bostock went on to play for Dewsbury and Featherstone, while Luke Haigh had spells at Dewsbury, Hunslet and Keighley before returning to the Trojans.
