Walsh selected for England cross country team
Liversedge’s Jenny Walsh has been picked for the England junior women’s cross country team that will compete in the Home Countries International, in Wales, on Saturday.
The 20 year-old Spenborough Athletics Club starlet was picked by the English Cross Country Association after an impressive performance in the English National Championships, in Sunderland, last month.
Also joining Walsh in the junior team is Wakefield Harrier Annabel Mason, City of Norwich’s Iona Lake and Rebecca Murray, from Bedford and County AC.
